This is a printable version of the original "Verso on a Quiet Street". I painted this storefront because it feels like the kind of place you notice when you’re not rushing. A simple sign, warm light in the windows, and just enough little details to make you curious. In my head, it’s a café you step into “just to have a look,” and then you end up staying longer than planned.

I started with the building’s soft, sandy walls and the rhythm of the shutters upstairs, then let the deep blue awning pull everything together. The windows were my favorite part to paint, layering blues and greens the way glass catches the day outside while still hinting at the glow inside. I added the small chairs, the menu board, and the potted green by the door because those are the details that make a storefront feel lived-in, like someone opened up this morning and will be happy to see you.

This piece is for anyone who loves city walks, cozy cafés, and that calm feeling of finding a good place by accident. It’s a lovely addition to a kitchen, reading nook, entryway, or workspace - anywhere you want a little reminder to slow down.
