I painted this building with the feeling of a quiet street that keeps its secrets. The curtains are drawn just enough to make you curious, the awnings cast a soft shade, and the roof holds all that warm color like the last bit of sunlight clinging to the day. And right in the middle, the blue double door feels like the one bright note that makes the whole scene sing.
I loved keeping the shapes simple and letting the colors do the storytelling. Warm reds and peaches for that cozy, sun-baked feeling, then cool blues and purples to calm everything down. The windows were painted to feel gentle and lived-in, not perfect, just familiar. The small pots at the bottom are my favorite detail because they bring the whole building back to earth. They make it feel cared for, like someone stepped out a moment ago, adjusted a plant, and went back inside.
This piece is for anyone who loves places that feel quietly personal. The kind of corner you walk past and remember later, not because it was grand, but because it had a mood.
