This is the line art used in my watercolor house portrait tutorial #1. You can download the file and use it to follow along with the painting process step by step.
The full tutorial is here:
To get the best results, I recommend printing the line art on 200–300gsm watercolor paper, or printing it on regular paper and tracing it onto your watercolor paper using a lightbox or tracing method. This allows you to focus on learning the watercolor techniques, color mixing, and texture effects demonstrated in the tutorial.
This line art is designed to make the painting process more approachable, especially if you want to practice watercolor without spending too much time on the initial sketch.
Feel free to use it for personal practice and learning. I hope it helps you enjoy the process of painting and experimenting with watercolor.
And if you share your finished painting on social media, don’t forget to tag me — I’d absolutely love to see your work and celebrate your painting with you!
Happy painting 🎨
